What does the word “Sommerly” mean?
Sommerly’s is drawn from the Norwegian term “Sommerlys” meaning “summer light.”
Do all of your ice cream bars contain eggs?
Yes, we use egg yolks in our ice cream base, which adds to the super creamy and indulgent texture that will keep you coming back for more!
Do your ice cream bars contain nuts?
Our Caramel Almond Brittle and Olive Oil Stracciatella contain tree nuts (almonds). Please note that all of our bars are produced in a facility that processes peanuts, tree nuts and soy.
Where can I find the ingredient and nutritional information?
Our ingredient and nutritional information are located on the side panel of every package and on our website’s flavor pages.
Do you use any artificial ingredients or flavors?
We are proud to say that Sommerly never uses any artificial ingredients or flavors. We thoughtfully source all of our ingredients and make it our mission to be as intentional with our ingredients as possible.
Is Sommerly Kosher?
Yes! All of our products are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
Is Sommerly Gluten Free?
Yes! Our 4 current flavors: Caramel Almond Brittle, Double Chocolate Crunch, Olive Oil Stracciatella and Passion Fruit Ruby Cacao are free of gluten.
Can I recycle the packaging?
We’re glad you asked. Our cartons are recyclable. The wooden sticks and film that encases the individual ice cream bar can be tossed in the trash.
