What does the word “Sommerly” mean?
Sommerly’s is drawn from the Norwegian term “Sommerlys” meaning “summer light.”
Do all of your ice cream cups contain eggs?
Yes, we use egg yolks in our ice cream base, which adds to the super creamy and indulgent texture that will keep you coming back for more!
Do your ice cream cups contain nuts?
Our Caramel Almond Brittle and Olive Oil Stracciatella contain tree nuts (almonds). Please note that all of our cups are produced in a facility that processes peanuts, tree nuts, wheat and soy.
Where can I find the ingredient and nutritional information?
Our ingredient and nutritional information are located on the side panel of every package and on our website’s flavor pages.
Do you use any artificial ingredients or flavors?
We are proud to say that Sommerly never uses any artificial ingredients or flavors. Every ingredient we use is carefully sourced and thoughtfully chosen.
Is Sommerly Kosher?
Yes! All of our products are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
Is Sommerly Gluten Free?
Yes! Our 4 current flavors: Caramel Almond Brittle, Olive Oil Stracciatella, Passion Fruit Ruby Cacao and Moroccan Mint Chip are free of gluten.
Can I recycle the packaging?
We’re glad you asked. Our cartons are recyclable. The cups and lids should be disposed of in the trash. We’re always exploring more sustainable packaging options for the future.
